The concept is a simple one, loads of really good food in a beautiful rustic setting with the cooking being done over wood fires, in smokers or over charcoal. Most of the electricity is generated on site through solar panels and a wind turbine but don’t let the rustic nature of the place mislead you, the focus is very much on producing a feast that will knock your socks off. The menu is created on the day to suit the tastes of the guests and the weather using the very best produce we can find. Bring an appetite, there is a lot of food, don’t expect lots of dainty courses with a drizzle of this and a foam of that, expect a table packed with loads of dishes to share, it’s Christmas gone mad.
Supper starts at seven thirty, come along after seven to settle in with a drink. If it’s a nice evening I’ll light a fire outside so you can enjoy your coffee and petit fours and while the night away under the stars.
We cater for meat eaters and vegetarians. The price is £75 per person and bring your own drinks so you won’t be paying an eye-watering mark up on the wine.
